The Chris Squire Limited Edition, Model 4001CS

The Chris Squire Limited Edition, Model 4001CS, features neck through body construction using solid Eastern Rock Maple, a contoured body, dot inlays, precision tuning keys and Rickenbacker's famous tailpiece/bridge. The neck has been shaped to meet Squire's specifications and match his original bass. The head stock and fingerboard are sculpted from the same piece of solid African Vermilion to insure consistency in grain and wood tone. The limited edition is finished in a special cream lacquer to match the custom color Squire commissioned on his own bass from an English luthier in the early 1970's. The Company has never offered this color before.

The Jack Bruce Limited Edition Bass

The Jack Bruce Limited Edition Signature Bass. Like the musician that it is named for, this bass is quite unique. Starting with a Thumb Bass neck-thru shape, the Warwick design team used hand-selected AAA bubinga pommelé for the body and neck wood. This beautiful and highly figured wood has the same sonic characteristics as the bubinga which is used on the standard Thumb Bass, meaning that it will have the same deep lows and trademark growl that you have come to expect. In the upper part of the body you will find Jack Bruce’s signature masterfully inlaid in mother-of-pearl, further setting this special instrument apart from any other Thumb Bass.

Another feature that Warwick has added to this tribute bass is the LED position marker system along the side edge of the neck. TheaJack Bruce Limited Edition bass comes loaded with two MEC active J-style pickups and the MEC active BEC III 3-way preamp.

This is truly a limited edition production, with only fifty fretted and fifty fretless basses being made. Each bass will be numbered and will include a signed certificate of authenticity.
